About Grace Centers of Hope Grace Centers of Hope (GCH) was established in 1942 and has grown and evolved into one of the oldest and largest faith-based outreach organizations to homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families in Southeast Michigan. GCH provides a full recovery and rehabilitation campus for homeless men, women and children who have been abused or addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. Our Philosophy GCH does not believe that simply throwing dollars at homelessness and substance abuse addictions will solve each problem. Furthermore, we believe that change begins from the inside out. GCH is a faith-based organization that is dedicated to promoting recovery through the Gospel of Jesus Christ and supported by challenging life skills programs. Mission Statement Grace Centers of Hope is a nonprofit Christian organization committed to positively changing the lives of the homeless, addicted and unwanted through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, personal accountability, life skills education and work-related programs. The foundation of change is the local church, which encourages residents to become strong in faith and independence while promoting a sense of belonging within a community that truly can be called “home.” 35 E.
